We’re based in the Waimakariri District and cover areas like Kaiapoi, Rangiora, Woodend, Pegasus, and surrounding suburbs. Other locations may be available by request — just ask!
2. What services do you offer?
We provide pet care, dog walking, feeding, light garden and home care, and pet pick-up/drop-off services. We also offer extras like grocery collection for your return.
3. Do you look after all types of pets?
Yes! We care for dogs, cats, birds, and small animals. If your pet has specific needs, let us know — we’re happy to tailor our service.
4. How do I get started?
Book a free meet & greet to introduce us to your pet, discuss routines, and make sure everyone is comfortable. You can do this via our Contact Page.
5. Are you insured?
Yes, Love Your Pets is fully insured for peace of mind. Your home and pets are always treated with the utmost care and respect.
6. What happens if my pet needs medical attention while I’m away?
We’ll contact you immediately and, if needed, take your pet to your preferred vet or the nearest available clinic. We’ll always prioritise your pet’s health and safety.
7. Can you water plants and check the mailbox too?
Absolutely! We can help with light garden care, plant watering, bin days, and basic home tasks while you’re away.
8. How much notice do I need to give for bookings?
The more notice, the better — especially for weekends or holidays. But we’ll always try to accommodate last-minute requests if possible.
9. How do payments work?
We’ll confirm pricing during your booking. Payment is typically made via bank transfer or you can use our debit / credit card payment options before the service begins. Package options are also available.
10. What if my plans change?
Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. We’re flexible and understanding.
